Graphic guide to writing off periodicals
Periodicals are the only document type for which we can choose an accelerated way of writing off. On the Works tab we select the document type Periodicals. Then we find the periodical whose issues we want to write off and mark it by clicking it. We then click the Update button.

(fig. 1)
On the Periodical sheets tab we select in the drop-down list the periodical sheet from which we want to write off issues. We then choose the specific issue and click the Write-off item button.

(fig. 2)
A confirmation dialog appears, where we confirm the write-off of the issue by clicking Yes. In this way we can write off individual issues one by one, which will then be displayed in teal.

(fig. 3)
We can, however, also write off a whole periodical sheet (all the issues in the periodical sheet) at once. On the Periodical sheets tab we choose in the drop-down list the periodical sheet we want to write off. We expand the Periodical sheets button and in the menu click Write-off periodical sheet.

(fig. 4)
In the confirmation dialog we click Yes, which writes off the whole periodical sheet, which is then hidden. In this way we can also write off periodical sheets that already have several items partially written off. Hidden (written-off) periodical sheets can be found in the Show periodical sheets menu.
